Mix together the soy sauce, 2 Tbsp. of the sesame oil, sugar, rice wine, garlic, black pepper, pear, carrot, scallions, and onion.
Add the meat, mixing to thoroughly coat each slice. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
Heat remaining 1 Tbsp. sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook the meat in a single layer until just cooked through.
Place meat on a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with rice and lettuce.
