Combine all ingredients in a nonreactive container. Massage briefly and then refrigerate until ready to use.
Comments
Make using 1/2 of a vidalia onion. Didn't get much zest off the lime.

Old
Made this a using a whole yellow onion and only one lime. There wasn't enough juice to properly pickle the onion, so it was still tasted a bit raw. Added another lime's juice afterwards which made it better.
