A savory Hungarian dish.
Boil potatoes until tender. Let cool, then peel and slice into rounds.
Preheat oven to 350°F and butter a baking dish. Place a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the dish, top with a layer of eggs, then a layer of sausage. Cover with sour cream and season with salt and pepper. Repeat potato, egg, sausage, and sour cream layers. Add one last layer of potatoes and top with sour cream. Sprinkle cheese over top.
Bake for 45 minutes, then increase heat to 400°F and continue to bake until brown.
