A Nordic mulled wine, often enjoyed around Christmas.
Combine vodka, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, orange peel, cardamom, and 2 Tbsp. raisins in a jar. Cover at let infuse for at least 24 hours, up to a week.
Transfer vodka and spices into a saucepan along with the wine, sugar, and vanilla. Heat mixture, stirring to dissolve sugar, until mixture is about 80.C. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Pour mixture through a sieve into a sterilized container for storage.
Heat gently before serving. Place several raisins and almonds in each glass before adding glögg.
