This is best served immediately after preparation so that the cucumbers remain crisp.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well to dissolve sugar.






Comments


Made using red onion and light Chinese soy sauce. This is a nice cool accompaniment to other dishes, but isn't the star of the meal (or at least my first attempt wasn't). I imagine it would provide a good counterpoint to greasier dishes, and will likely be trying this again soon as summer progresses.
