Pumpkin ale is a style rather than variety of ale. It is produces as pale ale, porter, stout, or even wheat beer. This style of beer is produced with pumpkin flesh and usually some spices. Some varieties of pumpkin ale are produced by adding flavoring (natural or artificial) to regular ales.
