A general term referring to one of several groups:
- A member of the lobster family, suck as spiny or rock lobsters, or scampi. They are all shaped like small Maine lobsters, usually 6-8" long.
- Any large shrimp, usually those that weigh in at 15 or fewer shrimp to the pound.
- Freshwater shrimp, as distinct from shrimp caught in fresh water.
