Description
A coarse, flaky variety of salt without any additives. Due to the irregular crystal size and shape, the weight of a volume of kosher salt can be significantly less than that same volume of table salt, or even of a different brand of kosher salt. Because of this, recipes that call for kosher salt should do so by weight when possible.
