Description

Sucuk is a Turkish sausage made from ground beef. To the east in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, this sausage may also contain horse meat. In Turkey, because of the large Muslim population, it will not contain pork. This sausage is semi-dried and prepared by dry-curing. It includes salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic, cumin, and sumac, among other Turkish spices.
