Despite the similar spelling, this herb is not the same as cilantro.
Description
The leaves of Eryngium foetidum, native to Central and South America. It is used extensively in the cuisine of Trinidad and Tobago. Culantro has a similar flavor to cilantro, but culantro is more potent.
