Description
Capsicum chinense is a small, light to dark green chile that turns yellow, orange, and red when ripe. They are the size and shape of habaneros, but without the same intense heat - they are, in fact, quite mild. They are popular in Caribbean cuisine, especial Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic.
